Here we are, Day 8!! We loved being with this zone as well. They are working in a very challenging area and doing their best.
We also loved the presentation by the zone leaders.
All of the zone leaders have done a great job with their teaching, but these two acted the scripture stories out, which was quite entertaining. Here Elder L is playing the role of King Lamoni's father after he passes out. Hopefully he didn't just get his suit cleaned.:-)
Here are some pictures of this great group of missionaries:
First the sisters . . .
And the elders . . . is he giving me the evil eye? :-)
Lunch was delicious once again.
And the lady who made it told me that she has been doing the cooking for the missionary Christmas parties for many years. I sure wish I had known that when we had the party, but at least now I know it for next year!
This was a chicken dish that was so very good!!
Everyone loved it!!
We always try to hurry them out the door after the conference, but it always ends up taking a while.
First there is the visiting . . .
Then all the picture taking . . .
There was the elders . . .
The sisters . . .
Four of the eight in the mission with the same last name . . .
And the whole zone together!
Then the mail . . .
And of course I have to take some pictures as well. Like of these happy missionaries . . .
And this elder who I am sure was a seminary teachers dream student. He joined the church at 16, but wanted to graduate from seminary so he did two years of work for two years in a row in order to complete the four years of study. And when we had our scripture chase he was amazing!! Good job Elder!!
Tomorrow I will post our last conference and then changes!! We have 9 missionaries going home and 10 arriving so this next week will be a full one as well.
