Zone Conferences Week Three--The North Side of the Mission

This week we traveled to the north side of the mission for our final conferences. We had a great time with these missionaries!

Here are a few pictures from the conferences. The first picture is actually of two zones who met together. 

 I think these sisters look a little lonely!! Good thing we have 12 new hermanas coming next week! Hopefully some of them will join the sisters here! :-)

Here are the scripture chase champions! It was pretty tough competition this time around!

A tie! They had both done so well, we just couldn't bring ourselves to have a run off! (I lost the picture of the two elders below getting their cookies, but luckily they stood next to each other in the birthday picture.:-)

Zone Conferences, Week 2

This past week we were in town for conferences. Being in town is quite a bit easier on us because we get to sleep in our own beds and eat at our own house. We usually try to schedule our week in town between our two weeks of travel just to make it a little easier on us. But whether in town or traveling, we love spending time with the missionaries. Here are some pictures from the conferences.

First--the zones . . .

And the winners of the test! Yes, Elder Brighton won both the scripture chase and the test for his zone. And he and Elder Patlán each scored 100% on the test!!

We also celebrated the birthdays for all those turning a year older in April, May and June.  Here are a few of the birthday missionaries! (I will post more next week)

Things are getting a little crazy around here . . .

We are in the middle of our second week of zone conferences and things are getting a little crazy!! Here are some pictures. I will explain them some day.:-)

Zone Conferences Week 1

And our three scripture chase winners! The questions this time came from Chapter 5 of PMG, Questions of the Soul

And the zone winners for the PMG test, only this test also included many questions from the Book of Mormon.

This zone had a tie!

And a sad little thing . . . these elders are attending their last zone conference. :-(

The first week has gone really well. We are so proud of our missionaries!! They are awesome!
