It is that time again . . . Saying goodbye to a great group of missionaries

Last night we bid farewell to 12 missionaries--11 elders and 1 sister. Two others from their group returned home a little earlier so they could start school on time. This night is always bitter sweet. We love the missionaries and so hate to see them go, but it is also fun to visit with them and see how far they have grown over the past two years. We are also excited to see what great things are ahead of them.

Here is the group from last night:

Final Transfer!
(Not in the order they appear in the picture)
Elder Luis Flores--Col. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico
Elder Luis Peña--Merida, Yucatan, Mexico
Elder Benjamin Hernandez--(I don't understand the address he put)
Eder Marco Buelna--Obregon, Mexico
Elder Abraham Noris, Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico
Elder Arturo Gonzalez--Monterrey, Mexico
Elder Rogelio Montaño--Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico
Elder Mosiah Lopez--Monterrey, Mexico
Elder Derek Quinton--Price, Utah
Elder Cole Farmer--Blackfoot, Idaho
Elder Collin Williams--Orem, Utah
Hermana Cortes--(I don't understand what is listed for the address)

One fun thing about being here for more than two years is we also have the pictures from the day the missionaries arrived. Here is the before and after from the Mexican elders.

And the after . . . just missing Elder Mendoza who returned home earlier to have surgery on his knee.
But believe me the change in them is much greater than the picture suggests.

What the kitchen looks like after announcing seconds are available . . .

Interesting . . .
 the sock contest  . . .

And the shoe contest!

And they are off!!

Best wishes to you all!!
